Description
The Tale of Flopsy Bunnies is a book written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter that was first published in 1909.
Flopsy and Benjamin Bunny have a hard time finding enough food for their numerous children, the Flopsy Bunnies. Peter Rabbit doesn't have any cabbages to spare from his garden, so they go to Mr. McGregor’s rubbish heap, pleasantly surprised to find it filled with overgrown lettuces. They eat their fill and then fall asleep. When Mr. McGregor finds them he puts the still sleeping bunnies in a bag. Thomasina Tittlemouse comes to the rescue biting a hole to get them out. Benjamin and Flopsy refill the bag with rotten vegetables, and when Mr. McGregor takes it home, he ends up being scolded by his wife.
The World of Beatrix Potter™ has become an enduring phenomenon, and is the world’s longest-running and largest international literature-based merchandise programme, encompassing over 450 licensees in 110 countries.
